The DS243 is a compact power supply for an internal backup radio station. The power supply forms one unit combining the power supply for power supply from the 230V network, the backup battery and the battery charger. It is designed for backup power supply of desktop radios and other electrical equipment, designed for power supply with 13.8V DC.
Description of the power supply for DS243 radios
The DS243 power supply is built into a metal case designed for mounting on a vertical wall with dimensions – height 23cm, width without connectors 22cm and depth 11cm. There are two lids on the front panel. The upper lid covers the compartment of the cabinet containing the electronics, the lower lid the compartment with the backup battery. On the right side wall of the cabinet there are connection connectors for connecting the 230V supply voltage, output connectors for connecting one or two radios, a fuse and a ground terminal. Both side walls are perforated to provide cooling. The power supply is mounted on the wall using two detachable metal brackets. The upper cover includes two indicator LEDs – green 230V indicates the presence of 230V supply voltage through the voltage at the output of the indoor power supply module and green 13.8V indicates the presence of 13.8V at the output of the power supply, behind the battery disconnector. There are also two START and STOP buttons for manual operation of the battery disconnector.
