Instrumentation of the microwave and telecommunication workplace DCom sro: The long-term goal is quality instrumentation for all areas of the company’s activities. The devices enable all measurements of electrical quantities, the main emphasis is placed on top equipment in the field of high-frequency and microwave measurements. To measure the final parameters, it is possible to measure the telecommunication parameters of transmission devices from 50Bd to 140Mbits / s. Oscilloscopes and logic analyzers as well as generators are available for the development and service of digital circuits. The devices are complemented by a number of accessories such as attenuators, adapters, cables, connectors, as well as memory, processor, power supply and voltmeter programmers.

Measurement of high frequency power up to 40GHz

blankThe Krytar 9000B milliwatmeter together with the Krytar 9540A detector enables power measurement in the range of -30dBm to + 20dBm. Connection To connector (m) 2.92mm, frequency range 100KHz to 40GHz. Resolution 0.01dB. The milliwatmeter is not equipped with an HPIB card.

HP438A dual channel power measurement up to 40GHz

blankThe HP438A milliwatmeter is mainly used for two-channel measurements of power, gain, attenuation, compression and other absolute and ratio measurements according to connected detectors up to 40GHz. The device is part of an automated measurement system on the HPIB bus.

HP437B power measurement up to 40GHz

blankWe use a single-channel HP437B milliwatt to measure performance in an HPIB automated system. Various detectors up to 40GHz are available, including the highly sensitive HP8484A for measurements from -70dBm to 18GHz. The probe 8486R is up to 40GHz for measurements on waveguides.

Measurement of transmission, power, frequency, VCO up to 8 GHz

blankThe combined microwave test set IFR6201B is used for automated measurements of transmission, power, reflection, frequency of microwave amplifiers, VSO and passive circuits in the range of 10MHz to 8GHz. The built-in counter works up to 20GHz. allows sweeping measurements and display of external measured voltage, can also generate tuning voltage for VCO.

Signal generator up to 40GHz

blankWe use HP83640A to generate modulated signals from 10MHz to 40GHz. The generator is equipped with modules for digital pulse modulations and an extended attenuator for setting the level -110dBm to + 20dBm. allows sweep measurements in conjunction with the HP8757A Scalar Analyzer or the Eaton 2075 Noise Analyzer. The generator is connected to the HPIB automated system.

Signal generator 2 to 18.5 GH

blankWe use the HP8672A generator for measurements in the range from 2GHz to 18.5GHz. The output power of the generator is adjustable from -120dBm to at least + 10dBm. The frequency step is 1KHz. The generator is mainly used for intermodulation and noise measurements in conjunction with an external mixer and Eaton 2075 noise analyzer. The devices are connected via the HPIB bus to a single system. The generator can also be hung on a rubidium frequency standard.

Frequency measurement up to 33 GHz

blankThe HP5350B microwave counter provides very accurate and fast frequency measurement up to 20GHz (up to 33GHz at -10dBm). External mixers must be used to measure higher frequencies. At a resolution of 1Hz, it performs one measurement per second. The device is connected to the HPIB automated system and to a 10MHz signal from the Rubidian standard Electronic Research Lab Model 130.

Spectrum measurement up to 40 GHz (with converter up to 325 GHz)

blankThe top spectrum analyzer Tektronix 2784 measures in the basic design from 100Hz to 40GHz. It supports the control of harmonic mixers up to 325GHz. The device is characterized by a large range of RBW filters from 3Hz to 10MHz, low phase noise, high measurement dynamics. 2 HPIB ports for automated measurement.

Noise figure measurement up to 18 GHz

blankNoise Gain Analyzer Eaton 2075 is designed to measure the gain and noise figure of amplifiers and converters from 10MHz to 1900MHz. In conjunction with the HP8672A generator, we use it for automated measurements up to 18GHz. We use the HP346B noise head with a K connector up to 18GHz.

Vector measurement of antennas in the field from 25 MHz to 3.3 GHz

blankWe use the SiteMaster S331C instrument with a range of 25MHz to 3.3GHz for field measurements. The device provides vector impedance measurement, including TDR distance to fault measurement for fault finding on coaxial lines. SW to PC enables archiving of measurements and display of impedance in the form of reflection coefficient, dB, VSWR and Smith diagram.

Measurement of attenuation, gain and adjustment up to 40 GHz

blankWe use the HP8757A scalar analyzer for scattered measurements of power, reflection, gain together with scalar detectors and self-testers. The device is part of the automated HPIB system. Used in conjunction with the HP83640A generator for measurements from 10MHz to 40GHz. The measurement dynamics with the HP11664 detector is 76dB.

BER error measurement from 50 Bd to 2 Mbit / s

It allows to measure multiplexers / demultiplexers at speeds of 155Mbit / s, 622Mbit / s and 2488Mbit / s. In addition to electrical interfaces, the device is also equipped with an optical module for 1310nm and 1550nm.

Programmable pulse generator 5ns 100MS

blankThe HP8118A two-channel pulse pattern generator is used to generate pulse sequences with a resolution of 10ns. The length of the rising and falling edges is programmable in 100ps increments. Optional edge course e.g. with Gaussian course, linear apd. Programmable output voltage in both states from -8V to + 8V at 50ohm load. The device is equipped with an HPIB bus. It is used in generating radar pulses for triggering manufactured amplifiers.
